Mediation Services
Bringing clarity, connection and constructive resolution
When conflict arises—whether in workplaces, families, or communities—it is rarely just about the issue at hand. Conflict is shaped by people, relationships, values, and the future those involved want to create. Left unresolved, it can erode trust and communication; approached well, it can become an opportunity for clarity, understanding, and positive change.
At the heart of my work is a belief that open communication and mutual respect are the foundations of strong workplaces and communities. As an Accredited Mediator and Professional Member of the Resolution Institute, with a professional background in Employment Relations, Human Resources, Leadership Development, Coaching, and Workplace Investigations, I bring a calm, informed, and balanced approach to mediation—grounded in impartiality, sound professional judgement, and real-world workplace practice. My work is guided by fairness, integrity, and a deep respect for the people involved.
Clients are supported through a well-defined, confidential mediation process that promotes open communication, mutual respect, and practical problem-solving. Through a professional and empathetic approach, I help people navigate conflict constructively, rebuild trust, and develop fair, workable solutions that support long-term understanding—enabling individuals and organisations to move forward with confidence and dignity.
What is Mediation?
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) refers to methods used to resolve disputes outside of court, including negotiation, mediation (a facilitated agreement process), and arbitration (where a neutral third party makes a binding decision).
Mediation is a confidential, voluntary ADR process that helps people in conflict work together to find a mutually acceptable resolution. As a neutral mediator, I facilitate communication, help clarify the key issues, and support participants in reaching their own agreement.
Unlike a court process, mediation is collaborative rather than adversarial, and the outcome remains in your hands.
By encouraging open communication and collaboration, mediation helps preserve relationships while creating space for expanded perspectives, increased understanding, and creative problem-solving.
The solutions that emerge are often more flexible and inclusive, addressing both practical and personal interests.
Agreements reached through mediation are shaped by the people involved, reflecting their unique circumstances and priorities. As a result, participants tend to experience a stronger sense of ownership, clarity, and commitment to what has been agreed.
The Mediation Process
Following the robust, tried-and-tested framework of the Resolution Institute, I walk alongside you throughout the process.
In summary, the process involves:
Initial Consultation – A confidential discussion to understand the situation, explain how mediation works, and consider which mediator or mediation model may best suit your needs.
Preparation – I help clarify the key issues and ensure all participants understand the process and feel ready to engage.
Mediation Session – Conducted in person or online, I facilitate a structured discussion, helping parties explore perspectives and develop workable solutions.
Agreement – Once resolution is reached, I reality-check the points with the parties to ensure the agreement is practical and sustainable. I can then assist with recording the agreement in the parties’ own words.

Offering Clarity and Connection, In Person or Online
I offer mediation in person or via secure video conference (Zoom), giving you the flexibility to choose the setting that best suits your needs.
Online mediation provides a highly accessible and efficient alternative to meeting in person, removing many of the traditional barriers to dispute resolution. By allowing participants to join from almost any location, it reduces the time, cost, and logistical challenges associated with travel and scheduling.
Many people also find meeting online creates a more comfortable environment, encouraging constructive dialogue and engagement. Using secure, professional video-conferencing platforms ensures privacy, confidentiality, and the ability to share documents in real time—making remote mediation a practical and effective way to resolve conflict with ease and confidence.
My Approach
I believe mediation should:
Encourage understanding before resolution
Focus on interests, not just positions
Provide clarity, not confusion
Lead to outcomes that are fair and durable
Respect the integrity and autonomy of everyone involved
A well-supported mediation process offers a safe and confidential space for honest dialogue, deeper understanding, and meaningful resolution. When approached with care and professionalism, mediation helps individuals move beyond conflict, rebuild trust, and find solutions that feel fair and workable for everyone involved.
With me as a neutral mediator guiding the way, parties can focus on what matters most—clarity, respect, and a positive path forward.
If you need a calm, impartial space and a skilled, independent mediator to help you work through difficult conversations and move toward clear, constructive, and lasting resolution, I’m here to support you.
